Jackson USA Custom Shop Chris Broderick Soloist 7 String Guitar

This is the Jackson USA Custom Shop Chris Broderick Soloist 7 String Guitar.   This is the first one to be completed for sale. It was Masterbuilt by Mike Shannon for our Megadeth Guitar Clinic on October 19th. The guitar was also signed by Chris Broderick which makes this guitar a collectors item. When Chris Broderick joined a revitalized Megadeth in 2008, fans were awestruck by his dazzling thrash fretwork. Jackson now pays homage to this modern metal master with the Chris Broderick Soloist, in six-string and seven-string models.

Chris Broderick worked with Jackson Custom Shop Master Builder Mike Shannon and designed his own special take on the venerable Soloist, with an offset arch-top mahogany body and quilt maple top (with matching headstock). Features include quartersawn maple neck with quilt maple binding, natural body and headstock binding, Floyd Rose® nut, ebony fretboard with 12” radius (not a compound radius), 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, Broderick-designed Custom DiMarizio® direct-mounted humbucking neck and bridge pickups that produce ultra heavy but articulate tones, recessed Floyd Rose® Pro bridge, kill switch, black hardware, side-mounted Rhoads jack, Planet Waves® Auto-Trim tuners, Ernie Ball® strap locks and G&G Custom case.
