This is the
Washburn Dreadnought D52SWCEK Acoustic Electric Guitar with Spuce Top
. An all solid wood guitar whose tone will improve with age, the D52 combines a solid spruce top with all solid mahogany back and sides. Mahogany is prized for producing a bright, balanced tone that is darker than maple but brighter than rosewood. This is the Cutaway version of Washburns best selling solid wood Dreadnought! The combination of a solid spruce top and mahogany back & sides provide for a full rich tone that is suitable for all styles of music.
The B-Band A3T sidemount preamp has a single input for use with UST or AST pickups and a 4-band EQ with Onboard Tuner. The volume and EQ control are the rotary type and there is a battery low warning LED light at the faceplate. The preamp has 9-volt powered class A electronics.
The Buzz Feiten Tuning System:
The Buzz Feiten Tuning System is a tempered tuning formula which uses a compensated nut & saddle to correct the inherent intonation problems of the Western tuning formula. The system that Buzz devised has been a godsend to guitarists.
