This is the Charvel USA Custom San Dimas Style 2 Tele Copper Flat Top Guitar. This guitar is a one-of-a-kind work of art. This Charvel was originally intended for the 2017 NAMM Show but was not finished in time so if found its way to us. Charvel is known for building Telecasters from time to time. This one was Masterbuilt by world renowned Charvel Builder Red Dave. Like every Charvel they are built for high performance and speed. They are natural shredders and this one is no different. It may look like a Tele but under the hood it is a hot rod. The Charvel Tele is know as the San Dimas Style 2. It features the incredibly fast and playable Charvel San Dimas thin neck profile. In addition it also features an Ebony Fretboard with a 12-16" compound radius which means that as you move up the neck the fretboard's curvature flattens out more making chords easy to play on the lower frets and leads and extreme bends easier to play on the higher frets. For pickups it is loaded with EVH Wolfgang Humbuckers with Chrome Covers and Cream Pickup Rings for scorching lead tones and fat rhythm sounds.The San Dimas Style 2 body has a specially contoured heel for easy access to the upper reaches of the fingerboard, and the bound Quartersawn Maple neck has a smooth oiled back finish and convenient truss rod adjustment wheel at the body end. Other premium features include an Alder in a Copper finish with a Matching Painted Headstock including Body, Neck and Headstock Ivoroid Binding, 22 jumbo frets and Mother-of-Pearl Block Inlays with inset Abalone Tiger Eye Inlays, three-way toggle pickup switching and single knurled control knob (volume), Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tailpiece, Bone Nut, Gotoh tuners and Chrome hardware. A Charvel SKB Style Hard-shell case with TSA locks is included.
