The neck is contoured for comfort to allow for fast and effortless playing. No one does it like Charvel. This Charvel San Dimas is a one-off from the Custom Shop. And the result is stunning. The Red Sparkle finish really pops. With the Mahogany Body the tone is tight and focused and thick on the bridge position. In the middle and neck position this guitar produces some amazing Strat-like tones. There is lots of Strat twang, bite and clarity that is balanced nicely with the bridge position. This Charvel has the contoured San Dimas Style body with a Premium Mahogany Body. For pickups it is loaded with a DiMarzio DP-100-F Super Distortion Black & Cream Zebra Bridge Pickup and DiMarzio DP-116 HS-2T Single Coil Neck Pickup installed in single coil mode. The neck is a quartersawn maple neck sporting the classic Charvel San Dimas slim profile. The fretboard is a Compound Radius Fretboard with Black Dot Inlays and 22 Jumbo Frets for smooth and easy chording and note bending without fretting out or tripping up on the fretboard. The headstock is a Fender licensed headstock with Schaller Tuners. This guitar also features an Original Floyd Rose Bridge and locking nut. It is really smooth and accurate, and stays in tune. The best locking trem in the business. The trem is not recessed on this model, it surface mounted on the body of the guitar with room to still pull up on the bar.
