This is the Charvel USA Custom Shop San Dimas Mental Condemned NAMM Guitar. This guitar has a back story. It was originally featured at the 2014 NAMM Show. It was sold to a dealer at the show but the dealer ended up not taking delivery of it and the guitar was forgotten about until a month ago it turned up in the Charvel warehouse. This Charvel was originally supposed to have a street price over $4k. It was Masterbuilt by Red Dave and features a Birdseye Maple Neck, Gold Hardware, Ebony Fretboard & Abalone Inlays that would put this guitar well over $3k without Mike Learn's artwork. Charvel offered this guitar to CMC Guitars at a deep discount and we are passing this discount on to you. This guitar is steal at this price. Charvel USA Made Guitars are killer instruments that are Modified for High Performance and this guitar is no exception. This Charvel has the contoured San Dimas Style body with a Premium Alder Body. The State Mental Condemned Straightjacket theme was done by the world famous Mike Learn who's artwork has adorned Charvel and Jackson Guitars for decades now. For pickups it is loaded with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge position and a Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck position with painted pickup covers. The neck is a Birdseye Maple Neck sporting the classic Charvel San Dimas slim profile. The fretboard is a Compound Radius Ebony Fretboard with Abalone Dot Inlays and 22 Jumbo Frets. The headstock is a Fender licensed headstock with Gotoh Crown Head Tuners. This guitar also features all Gold Plated Hardware with an Original Floyd Rose Bridge and locking nut. It is really smooth and accurate, and stays in tune. The best locking trem in the business. The trem is not recessed on this model, it sits flat on top of the body of the guitar.
