This is the Charvel USA Custom Shop San Dimas Slab Flat Top Trans Amber Guitar. This is a one-off that was supposed to be at the 2017 NAMM Show but was not finished in time. It is a beautiful Red Dave Masterpiece. If you are reading this you probably already know there is nothing that plays like a Charvel. They are killer guitars Modified for High Performance and this guitar is no exception. Red Dave built a great one here. This Charvel has the San Dimas Style body with a Roasted Genuine Mahogany Slab Body what has the Guthrie Govan Heel and Lower Horn Contour for easy access to the higher frets. The top is a beautifully Book Matched 1/8" 5A Flamed Maple Top in a Trans Amber Finish with Ivoroid Binding. For pickups it is loaded with a Cream Dimarzio DP-100 Super Distortion in the Bridge and a Cream Dimarzio DP-155 Tone Zone Pickup. They produce a ballsy cutting classic Dimarzio tone great for all types of Rock and Metal plus the pickups clean up nicely to deliver sparkling cleans. The neck is an Oiled Quartersawn Maple neck sporting the classic Charvel San Dimas slim profile. The fretboard is a 12"-16" Compound Radius Maple Fretboard with Black Dot Inlays and 21 Jumbo Frets. The headstock is a Fender licensed headstock with Legacy Brass Crown Head Tuners. This guitar also features a Charvel Vintage Brass Tremolo Bridge with Brass Saddles. In addition this San Dimas also has Brass Knobs and Strap Buttons as well as Brass Side Dot Inlays. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind guitar look no further.
