This is the Charvel USA Custom Shop So Cal Daphne Blue Guitar. This guitar just rips. There is nothing that plays like a Charvel. Modified for High Performance. This is a one off built by the custom shop. Like Eddie Van Halen's original Frankenstrat this guitar features an Ash Body for crushing tone. This Charvel has the contoured San Dimas Style body set up as a So Cal with a black single-ply pickguard. For pickups it is loaded with a Seymour Duncan JB TB4 in the bridge position and we have a Seymour Duncan '59 Pickup in the Neck. The neck is a quartersawn maple neck sporting the classic Charvel San Dimas slim profile. The fretboard is a Compound Radius Rosewood Fretboard with Mother of Pearl Dot Inlays and 22 Jumbo Frets. The headstock is a Fender licensed painted headstock with Gotoh Tuners. And to top it all off the finish is the Fender classic Daphne Blue finish. This guitar also features an Original Floyd Rose Bridge and locking nut. It is really smooth and accurate, and stays in tune. The best locking trem in the business. The trem is not recessed on this model, it sits flat on top of the body of the guitar.
