This is the Charvel USA Custom Shop Special Edition San Dimas HSH Relic Surf Green Guitar. It has finally arrived. We've been waiting quite a while for this one. We walked away with the 2018 NAMM Display Guitar but have been waiting for it since the show. The guitar sounds, looks and plays amazing. The guitar for sale is the guitar pictured. The guitar is a spin on the Guthrie Govan Model. It features a baked Basswood San Dimas body with the Govan heal contour. It has a beautiful baked quatersawn flame maple fretboard. The "caramelized" heat and drying treatment makes it sound and feel much older, with graphite reinforcement and a convenient truss rod adjustment wheel at the body end. Most unusually for a San Dimas model, the compound-radius (12"-16") flame-maple fingerboard spans two octaves 24 jumbo frets and special maple dot inlays. The color is a the classic Fender Surf Green in a Nitro Relic Finish. Other premium features include three specially wound Charvel custom MFB pickups arranged in a versatile HSH configuration with five-way switching for the expansive tonal openness and dynamic sensitivity, two control knobs (master volume, master tone). The bridge is an Original Floyd Rose with an R3 nut, chrome hardware and 25.5" scale length. Grab this guitar while you can. This is the last one.
