This is the Charvel USA Select San Dimas HSS Satin Torred Red Guitar. Charvel USA Production Model guitars are back and they are incredible. These guitars a straight forward rockers. Charvel is all about guitars that are hot rodded guitars built for speed and playability, and these guitars deliver. Features include a San Dimas Body style Alder Body, Satin Plum Finish, 3-Ply Egg Shell Pickguard, Quartersawn Maple neck with 22 Jumbo frets with the classic San Dimas profile neck with nicely rolled edges. In addition it has a compound radius fretboard (12"-16") so it practically plays itself. Chords are fretted with ease on the lower frets and as you move up the neck the fretboard flattens out so that bending notes is done with ease and without fretting out. It also is loaded Non-Recessed Original Floyd Rose Bridge. The guitar is also equipped with a bullet truss rod adjustment at the headstock for quick and easy adjustments. This guitar is a straight ahead rocker loaded with a single humbucking Dimarzio Super Distortion Pickup in the bridge position and the awesome Dimarzio DP-116 HS2 Pickup in the neck & middle positions. According to Dimarzio the DP-116 Pickup can be heard in Def Leppard's Rock of Ages solo played by Phil Collen. It pairs great with the Super Distortion. For controls we have a Master Volume and a 5-Way Blade Switch. This baby is a player. Grab this while you can.
