CMC Guitars So-J-With Pearloid PG 2H Birdseye MN Starlight Blue Guitar
This is the CMC Guitars So-J-With Pearloid PG 2H Birdseye MN Starlight Blue Guitar. CMC Guitars is proud to announce our own line of Custom Shop USA made guitars built right here in the Pine Barrens of South Jersey in the heart of Jersey Devil country. The model name is a So-J (Pronounced So Jay), which stands for "South Jersey". The "So-J-With" means "With Pickguard" and the "So-Jay Without" means "Without Pickguard". So this has been something we have been cooking up for several years and we are finally here. This is a one-off that we designed and it is a beautiful classic shredder. Our goal to start is to produce beautiful classic super strats that will feel instantly familiar with custom options, custom paint jobs, at a great price point, that you don't have to wait 2-3 years to get. It is all about guitars that are hot rodded built for speed and playability.
Features include an Alder Body, a 1-piece 3A Birdseye Maple neck with a Walnut Skunk Stripe, Dual Action Vintage Truss Rod, 22 6100 Jumbo frets and the classic Pro Mod neck profile with nicely rolled edges. In addition, it has a compound radius Birdseye maple fretboard (12"-16") so it practically plays itself. Chords are fretted with ease on the lower frets and as you move up the neck the fretboard flattens out so that bending notes is done with ease and without fretting out. The finish is our own creation. We call it Starlight Blue. It has a hint of small metallic flake mixed in the dark blue paint that makes it look like stars in the right light. It is very subtle but cool. It also is loaded with a Gold Non-Recessed Original Floyd Rose Bridge with a 37mm FU Tone Big Brass Block with FU Tone Black Noiseless Springs and an R3 Nut. We also loaded this guitar with the AxLab Brass Locking Tone Claw for maximum tone transfer and no more springs that pop off. This guitar is designed to have a classic look and sound. So we went with Vintage Hot pickups for the "Eddie" vibe. In the bridge position we loaded it with a Seymour Duncan '78 Model Trembucker Pickup and a Seymour Duncan '78 Model Humbucker Pickup for the neck position. For controls we have a single Master Volume with a Bourns 500k Volume Pot and 3-Way Switchcraft Toggle Switch. For the output jack we only used the best with a Pure Tone PTT1 Multi Contact Point Jack. With multiple contact points there is no chance for bad contact with your guitar cable. This baby is a classic style super strat with some modern enhancements that is a player. Grab this while you can.
