This is the EVH Striped Series Left Handed Red Black and White Striped Guitar with Full FU Tone Upgrade Package. We call it "The Works" Yes, at CMC Guitars we took an already great guitar and took it to the next level by adding a FU Upgrades which fattens up the tone and adds loads of sustain. This modification does not cosmetically change the guitar at all. See the explanation below. This classic iconic graphic is probably the most recognizable guitar design in the world. It features a sleek Strat®-like basswood body, rock-solid quartersawn maple neck with oiled finish, fast and smooth compound-radius maple fingerboard (12”-16”) with comfortably rolled edges and 22 jumbo frets, a single ferocious EVH direct-mount pickup with single black plastic control knob (master volume), EVH Floyd Rose® with D-Tuna® bridge and locking nut, and EVH tuners.

 

Red Titanium FU Tone Upgrades

 

This guitar is extra special because it has been upgraded with FU Tone Floyd Rose Upgrades. Floyd Rose Tremolo's come stock with light and wimpy trem blocks. In addition many of the key components that players use the most on a Floyd Rose are constructed out of weak and flimsy metal. FU Tone changes all of that. The FU Tone Big Blocks provide more mass which equals more resonance and tone transfer. This Guitar has a FU Tone 37mm Big Brass Block installed. In short, your guitar will sound like it just took a big dose of steroids. Fatter Tone and Sustain for days is the result. Anyone that has played Floyd Rose Trems probably has had broken String Blocks. They are made out of cheap metal. The String Blocks is where your string locks into the bridge. That should be made out of the best metal. Well FU Tone fixes that with Titanium String Blocks. Titanium is the strongest metal that could be used and provides maximum tone transfer. Similarly Floyd Players know how weak all the screws are on the stock Floyd Rose Bridges. These FU Tone Titanium Screws fix that. Never worry about stripping them again. To top it off this guitar has been upgraded with Heavy Duty Noiseless Springs. No rattling, no noise, no weird overtones or resonance coming from your trem cavity ever again.
