This is a Fender American Telecaster 2016 Limited Edition Elite Figured Neck Tele Guitar. This guitar is part of Fender's 2016 Magnificent 7. As simply elegant as ever, the Limited Edition American Standard Telecaster Figured Neck is an enduringly classic design for the guitarist who appreciates and aspires to the beautifully bright, clear tone and style of the Fender guitar that started it all. As an elegant touch, a gorgeous figured maple neck with rosewood fingerboard graces this timeless instrument. Includes a “Special Edition” ingot inlaid in the rear of the headstock. You will notice that the serial number from these guitars starts with a 13 which would indicate this guitar was built in 2013 but they were not. The necks are extra necks from the Fender Select Tele's made in 2013. Fender wastes nothing. This guitar is lightweight at 7.6 lbs too. 

Strong and dense, ash is a longtime Fender classic for electric instrument bodies. Notably resonant and sweet sounding, it’s characterized by clearly chiming highs, well-defined midrange and strong low end. It also features an attractive grain accentuated by light-colored finishes like this beautiful Cognac Burst.
