This Fender Custom Shop Strat boasts an ash body with a lacquer finish. The tinted 1-piece quartersawn maple neck is wrapped with a polyurethane finish and sports a '57 Soft "V" shape. The single-ply pickguard and 5-way pickup switch with a Fender Custom Shop '69 Bridge Pickup and a Fat 50's Middle and Neck Pickup with a RWRP Middle Pickup.

This means the instrument is finished to resemble an instrument that has enjoyed a long life of heavy use.
