This is the Fender Custom Shop American Custom Strat NOS Stratocaster Sage Green Metallic Guitar. This guitar takes all of the timeless Fender standards then decks it out with some new appointments to create a monster guitar and a new Fender Classic. The Nitro Sage Green Metallic finish on this guitar is stunning. Features include a lightweight ash body with a NOS lacquer finish, lightly tinted AAA Birdseye Maple Neck with a large 60's C shape. If you like it chunky. This guitar is for you. This American Custom Strat practically plays itself. One of the features that makes it so easy to play is the radius and curve of the fretboard. The Fretboard Radius is a compound radius (9.5"-12") in that the fretboard has more of a curve to it lower on the neck and as you move up the neck it starts to flatten out a bit. This makes for the easy fretting chords and when you are bending notes higher up on the fretboard you don't get as much drag. Bending is easy on this guitar. The frets are the Medium Jumbo 6105 frets. Additional features are 1969 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster pickups in the Neck & Middle Position (RW/RP) and a Fender Custom Shop Texas Special Pickup in the bridge with five-way switching, 1 Volume, 1 Tone & the second Tone Pot is actually a Fender Blender Knob which blends in the neck pickup in positions 1-3. This Strat can scream but chime like a bell. Other features include a 1-ply parchment pickguard, RDS Stratocaster Bridge, Die Cast Tuners with Pearl Buttons, Custom G&G case with Fender Custom Shop Logo and certificate of authenticity. • Vintage style six screw mount with steeper 20 degree bevel on the bridge plate that improves the pivot geometry. The mounting screws have corresponding 20 degree heads.

The two together allow the bridge to pivot freely without sliding up and down the mounting screws like the original set up. It’s all in an effort to make things smoother and stay in tune better.

• The arm sits deeper in the block and the dimensions and plating tolerances are held to a higher standard to achieve a more solid feel and minimize excessive play. It also has an arm tensioning adjustment.

• The materials, plating, and heat treat processing were selected to voice the bridge for the best possible tone.

• The saddles are narrower and slightly closer together for better neck edge and pickup pole alignment.
