This is a Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Relic Esquire Nocaster Blonde Guitar. When we saw this guitar at the 2014 NAMM Show we instantly fell in love with it. It is simple and elegant with a new twist on one of Fender's earliest classic electric guitars. This Fender Custom Shop’s Limited Edition Relic Esquire combines original-era style with several specialized features and a worn Relic treatment for its nitro-lacquer finish in classic Nocaster® Blonde. Only 60 will be made. With a lightweight Ash Body weighing in at 7.4 lbs this guitar wont break your back. The maple neck sports the classic AAA Birdseye Maple Tinted Neck with a Large "C" Neck Profile. A traditional maple fingerboard sports black dot inlays, 21 Narrow Jumbo 6105 frets and a flatter fretboard radius of 9.5" for more comfort. The pickup is a single Fender "Wide Range" Humbucking Pickup with modern wiring and rear-loaded controls (master volume, master tone with Greasebucket™ circuit, which rolls off highs without adding bass). In addition it also includes a hard-tail bridge with vintage-style saddles, vintage-style tuners and nickel-chrome hardware.
