This is a Fender Custom Shop LTD '56 Strat Heavy Relic NAMM Stratocaster Faded Sonic Blue Guitar. This guitar is the actual guitar that was featured at the 2016 NAMM Show. It comes with the NAMM COA. The 2016 Limited Edition 1956 Relic® Stratocaster® takes you straight back to the instrument's original era, with a lightweight ash body with deep contours in a Faded Sonic Blue lacquer Heavy Relic Finish that recreates years of playing, wear and tear. The sparkling trio of hand-wound '56 single-coil Stratocaster pickups is mounted on a single-ply eight-hole egg shell pickguard, five-way switching for modern tonal versatility with Vintage Modified wiring and Tone-Saver treble bleed circuit for which allows for you to roll back your volume without losing any of high end.Other premium features include a quartersawn maple neck with worn Relic treatment on the back and fretboard with the classic "10/56 V Profile. The 10/56 name came from the necks produced in the Fender factory from October 1956 which had a distinct fatter V profile which pre-dated the thinner '57 V which would be introduced a couple of months later. In addition this guitar has a 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 narrow jumbo frets, bone nut, rock-solid American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, American Vintage tuning machines and a Custom Shop Limited Edition neck plate and Limited Edition G&G Fender Custom Shop Tweed Case. Also, this guitar is very lightweight at 7.2 lbs so it wont break your back. Grab this one while you can.
