This is the Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Strat Yuriy Shishkov Deluxe Stratocaster Trans Red Guitar. This guitar was part of a group of guitars that Fender Masterbuilder Yuriy Shishkov built in 2012 for one of the dealer shows but didn't finish in time so they never saw the light of day until now. We sold the first two before we even got a chance to put them up on our site. As most people know a Yuriy Shishkov Fender Custom Shop guitar is hard to come by. Yuriy has over a two year wait and his one-off guitars rarely become available. And what makes this one even better is that it has Abigail Ybarra Red Hot Handwound Pickups. Abby Ybarra had worked at Fender for over 50 years and retired in the spring of 2013. Her pickups have been in all the legendary Fender guitar players guitars. So her pickups are highly sought after and hard to come by. So not only does this Strat look great it sounds even better. This Masterbuilt Strat features the 9.5" neck radius, AAA Flamed Maple Tinted Neck with a '57 Soft "V" Profile, Slab Select Ash Body, 5A Quilted Maple Hand Stained Top, Double Binding Bindy, and Abalone Inlays.
