This is a Fender Custom Shop Tele '52 Telecaster 2013 NAMM Relic Lake Placid Blue Guitar. This guitar is part of the Fender Custom Shop 2013 Collection and this is the actual NAMM 2013 Guitar and the first one in Lake Placid Blue to be made. It comes with all the NAMM Documentation too. A custom variation on a classic theme. One of Fenders greatest guitars now boasts colors and features that could have seen in 1952 but werent. "What if?" is now a reality. Fender started with a lightweight ash body, then also picked one of Fender's most popular neck shapes (the 10/56), and installed a set of Twisted Tele® pickups. Built with the player in mind, it also has a flatter 9.5 fingerboard radius, taller 6105 frets and the Custom Shops most requested wiring and tone-control circuits (three-way switching and Greasebucket tone controls), gold hardware and an anodized gold pickguard. The Greasebucket Tone Circuit rolls of highs without getting boomy or adding bass. It is a great addition to this Telecaster.
Highlights
This Fender Custom Shop Tele boasts an ash body with a lacquer finish. The tinted 1-piece quartersawn maple neck is wrapped with a polyurethane finish and sports a 10/56 "V" shape. The Gold Anodized Aluminum pickguard and 3-way pickup switch with the Twisted Tele Pickups is a killer combo. And to top it all off this is the NAMM Guitar which comes with the NAMM COA (Certificate Of Authenticity) as well as the Fender COA (Certificate Of Authenticity).
