The Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Quilted Redwood Top Tele NAMM 2015 Guitar is part of a Limited Run of 10 guitars made for the 2015 NAMM Show. NAMM guitars are always collectable and this one is made to be played and it is stunning to look at. The custom shop outdid themselves with this guitar. The body is Premium Lightweight Ash in Relic Thin Polyurethane Finish showcasing the natural beauty in the figuring of the wood. And this guitar only weigh's in a 6.6 lbs so it wont break your back. The electronics are rear loaded too so there is more of the Redwood top visible. The pickups are the toneful and punchy Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele Pickups with a Greasebucket Tone Control (which rolls off highs without a loss of gain or clarity) and Modern Wire Circuit. The Pickup Covers, Knobs and Pickup Switch Tip are chromed out too. Stay Classy. For the Bridge we have the Fender RSD Tele Bridge which has a lower profile so it doesn't dig into your hand and the saddles have been tooled to intonate better than the traditional Telecaster Bridge. The Bridge is also in the shape of the Vintage Tele Bridge Cover. So it is a spin on a classic look but with modern inhancements for better playability. The neck is a Dark Tinted Maple Neck that is has the classic Mid-60's "C" Profile. This Tele also features a Dark Rosewood Fretboard with the more modern 9.5" Fretboard radius which is a flatter than the standard vintage radius which makes it a little easier to make big bends. In addition put 6105 Frets on this Telecaster for even easier playing. And to top it all off this guitar is fitted with Shcaller Tuners with Pearl Buttons, a Bone Nut and Rolled Fretboard Edges.
