This is a Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Tele '52 NOS Daphne Blue Rosewood Fretboard Guitar. This is a guitar that players have been asking for, a '52 Tele with a Rosewood Slab Fretboard. Well here it is. And we had Fender sort through all the Indian Rosewood for a nice dark piece to help us make the guitar that never was. The neck profile is the much loved Fat '52 "U" Shape which is slightly thinner than the '51 Nocaster "U" Shape. In addition we had Fender sort the wood for a beautiful piece of lightweight Premium Ash for the body. So the guitar weighs in at only 7.0 lbs. Additional features include a Daphne Blue Nitro finish, 6105 frets and a flatter fretboard radius of 9.5" for more comfort. The pickups are Fender Custom Shop Nocaster Tele Pickups with three-way switching has the sought-after sound of yesterday and vintage wiring. Upon request we will disconnect the "mud-switch". This Fender Tele of course has a the vintage hardware, a black 1-ply pickguard and Original Vintage Tele Bridge with 3 Brass Saddles to complete the dream.
