Gibson Vintage 1963 ES-355 Cherry Soul Survivors Guitar

This is a Gibson Vintage 1963 ES-355 Cherry Soul Survivors Guitar. This is in very good condition and is a piece of rock & roll history. It was owned and used by Chuck Trois of the Philadelphia Soul Survivors to record their 1967 "When The Whistle Blows Anything Goes" album. This is the guitar that recorded the killer riff on the song "Expressway To Your Heart". This guitar has only had two owners and was purchased off of Chuck Trois on December 22, 1972.  The guitar is all original except for the frets. The company that did the refret job left some small divits next to the frets when they were trying to remove the old frets as shown in the pictures. Overall the guitar is in very good condition. The last owner removed the pickup covers but they are included with the guitar and are pictured with the original case and it comes with the Stereo Cable. The guitar features the rare side ways vibrola tremolo. The Nut Width is 1-11/16ths. The neck profile is the slim 60's profile and the pickups are the PAT# pickups. The case was painted with the pyschedelic design by Chuck Trois himself. This will make a great addition to any vintage guitar collection.
