This is the Jackson USA Custom Shop 2011 NAMM PC1 Supreme Natural Finish Electric Guitar.  This was one of the feature Jackson Guitars at the 2011 NAMM show.  This guitar is a one-of-a-kind.  This guitar was a collaboration between Phil Collen of Def Leppard and Jackson Guitars. We had a chance to talk to Phil Collen about this guitar.  He is pictured with this very guitar alongside of CMC Guitars Owner Stephen McQuaid.  Phil and Jackson worked on 3 guitars for NAMM and this was the only one for sale.  Phil was taking the other two for himself as these three were the first built to his new spec.  Now in talk with Phil he had told us that he wanted a guitar in his arsenal that had more of a Les Paul type of feel with some enhancements.  And that is exactly what Phil Collen and Jackson Guitars accomplished.   One of the tweaks to the Les Paul was to have a slightly longer of 25".  In addtion, Phil wanted a fat neck like that of a vintage Gibson and that is what he got and then some.  If you like fat Gibson like necks this guitar will deliver.  It has the fattest neck we had ever come across.  It is like a tree trunk.  In addition, the guitar weighs about 2 tons.  That is because of the Neck-thru Mahogany Body with a 3/4" Quilted Maple Top. 

In addition, Phil Collen's new Jackson PC1 Supreme has a new headstock design aptly named the PC Supreme Headstock.  Also, the guitar has a compound radius ebony Fretboard with 24 Frets with a single Mother of Pearl Sharkfin Inlay at the 12th Fret.  It is also has Gold Hardware with a recessed Floyd Rose Bridge with the Titanium Upgrades.  For Pickups the Jackson PC1 Supreme is loaded with 2 DiMarzio Zebra Humbucker Pickups.  There is no sustainer on this guitar.  And he put a natural Oil Finish on the guitar.  All in all this guitar is an instant classic and a work of art.  Don't let this one get away.
