This is the Jackson USA Custom Shop 2012 NAMM Soloist SL2HT Tamo Ash Arched Top Guitar.  This was one of the feature Jackson Guitars at the 20112 NAMM show.  WOW! Right? This guitar is Masterbuilt by Pablo Santana and was the envy of all guitar players at the NAMM Show. We sat down and talked to Pablo about this masterpiece.  Tamo Ash is an Exotic Wood also known as "Japanese Ash" but oddly enough it does not grow in Japan.  It is not to be confused with "Sen" which is also known as "Japanese Ash".  Tamo Ash is a great tone wood but it is not generally available in the US.  It is an expensive wood that is known for its wild swirly grain patterns and its "peanut" figures found in the grain patterns. Pablo hand picked this Tamo Ash from Jackson's wood supplier and constructed the entire guitar except for the body which is Swamp Ash.  The guitar is super lightweight at 6.6 lbs. The Top, Neck & Fretboard are all made out of the beautiful Japanese Ash.  Then Pablo masterfully carved a highly figured Tamo Japanese Ash Hand Stained Cap into a beautiful Archtop to finish off the guitar.  This guitar features a Standard Jackson headstock and gold hardware with a gold Jackson logo for a classy twist.  The fretboard has the the Jackson compound radius and The bridge is a Tune-O-Matic String-thru.  For Pickups Pablo loaded it with 2 DiMarzio Humbuckers.   All in all this guitar is an instant classic and a work of art.  Don't let this one get away.
