This is a Jackson USA Custom Shop King V Mahogany Transparent Red Electric Guitar.  This is the King V Trans Red Mahogany Orphan.  The Orphan Status means it is a one of a kind and the specs were dreamed up by the Custom Shop.  I love this guitar.  It is beautiful.  This Jackson King V has a Mahogany Body with a Quartersawn Maple Neck with an Ebony Fretboard.  It comes equipped with a single DiMarzio Super Distortion Pickup and a Tunomatic Bridge.  Beauty and the Beast in one guitar.

The King V features include an Unmistakable look, unbelievable sound. The Jackson King V was first made for Robin Crosby of Ratt.  Robin's nick name was King hence the name of the Jackson King V.  Ever since the Jackson King V has become a staple in the metal world with its signature look & feel.  That has much to due with the compound radius which makes the fretboard more rounded and concave on the lower frets while it slowly tapers out to be more flat at the higher frets.  This Jackson Custom Shop King V is of course made in the USA and is a killer Flying V Guitar.  The Jackson King V is also very comfortable to play because unlike a Strat Style body there is no guitar horn to get in the way on the higher frets.  You will be burning up and down the King V fretboard.  This Jackson King V also features an Mahogany Body, quartersawn Maple 3 Piece Neck-thru body, compound radius ebony fingerboard, DiMarzio® Super Distortion humbucking pickups, JT390 Adjustable Bridge with String-Through-Body Construction.
