This is a Jackson USA Custom Shop KV2T King V Transparent Black Electric Guitar.  It is part of the Jackson USA Select Series.  This is the only Trans Black KV2T that I have ever seen.  The Trans Black finish, because of the natural darkness of Mahogany, takes on almost a Natural Trans Mahogany look.  The King V features include an Unmistakable look, unbelievable sound. The Jackson King V was first made for Robin Crosby of Ratt.  Robin's nick name was King hence the name of the Jackson King V.  Ever since the Jackson KV2 has become a staple in the metal world with its signature look.  The KV2T has some slight variations over the KV2.  It has a slightly fatter SL2H neck profile as opposed to the Jackson Speed Neck.  In addition the KV2T has the 3+3 Headstock with Sperzel Pearloid Tuners.  It also features Mother-of-Pearl Tipped Q-Parts® Control Knobs and the Mother of Pearl Shark Eye Position Inlays.  The KV2T has a that classic Jackson feel to it.  That is due to the compound radius which makes the fretboard more rounded and concave on the lower frets while it slowly tapers out to be more flat at the higher frets.  This Jackson KV2T King V is of course made in the USA and is a killer Flying V Guitar.  The Jackson KV2T is also very comfortable to play because unlike a Strat Style body there is no guitar horn to get in the way on the higher frets.  You will be burning up and down the King V fretboard.  The Jackson KV2T also features an Mahogany Body, quartersawn Mahogany 3 Piece Neck-thru body, compound radius ebony fingerboard, Seymour Duncan® Zebra humbucking pickups, JT390 Adjustable Bridge with String-Through-Body Construction.
