This is the Jackson USA Custom Shop Phil Collen PC1 Supreme Solar Guitar. These guitars are extremely rare and hard to come by. This guitar is a one-of-a-kind that was made to Phil Collen's exact specification for CMC Guitars. We've been waiting for this guitar for over two years and it is finally here. And this is a price that you will not see again as the price of these guitars have gone up dramatically in the two years since we placed this order. So grab this one while you can. Since the unveiling of the PC Supreme 3+ years ago there have been very few made or up for sale as most were taken by Phil to play or pre-sold before they even became available. For those that don't know the history of the PC Supreme, Phil wanted a Les Paul style guitar with the Jackson feel and playability. One of the tweaks to the Les Paul was to have a slightly longer of 25". In addtion, Phil wanted a fat neck like that of a vintage Gibson but bigger and that is what he got and then some. If you like fat Gibson like necks this guitar will deliver. It has the fattest neck we had ever come across. It is like a tree trunk. And in addition Phil loves the heavier gauge strings. This guitar is strung with .012-.054 gauge strings. But surprisingly enough the guitar is so easy to play and the strings bend very easily. Don't be scared.

In addition, Phil Collen's new Jackson PC1 Supreme has a new headstock design aptly named the PC Supreme Headstock. Also, the guitar has a compound radius a AAA Birdseye Maple Slab Fretboard with 24 Frets with a single Mother of Pearl Reverse Sharkfin Inlay at the 12th Fret. It is also has Nickel Hardware with a Tune-O-Matic Stop-Tail Bridge. For Pickups this Jackson PC1 Supreme is loaded with a DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion Humbucker Bridge Pickup and a DiMarzio DP219 D-Activator Humbucker Neck Pickup. There is no sustainer on this guitar.
