This is the Jackson USA Custom Shop SL2H-MAHQ Soloist Burnt Cherry Burst Maple Speed Neck Guitar. Wow. Just get a good look at this guitar. It is a beauty. We took the Jackson SL2H-MAHQ and made a few modifications to it. We basically kept the body of the SL2H-MAHQ and paired it with the neck of a Speed Neck of a KV2 King V which has a Neck-thru Quartersawn Unfinished Maple Neck with a Black Painted Standard Headstock. Painted necks tend to get sticky. With an unfinished neck you won't have that problem. Also, the Maple Neck adds a little more top end to the darker Mahogany body which evens out the tone. The Speed Neck is a thinner profile than the standard Soloist Profile so it is even easier to play. The Speed Neck Profile is 3rd Fret: .775", 12th Fret: .835". You can make this Jackson Soloist go from scorching metal rhythms and leads to pristine clean tones. This Jackson Soloist additional Features include an Mahogany body,Quilted Maple Top, Abalone Inlays and Logo, Compound Radius Ebony Fingerboard, Floyd Rose Original Tremolo and Seymour Duncan Pickups. The compound radius that in fact comes standard on every Jackson Guitar. The fretboard is more concave closest to the nut and gradually flattens out as the fretboard nears the body of the guitar making playing on the higher frets a breeze. Every guitar player should have a Jackson SL2H Soloist in their arsenal or it is not complete. The Burnt Cherry Burst Quilted Maple Top on this Soloist is killer too.
