This is the Jackson USA Custom Shop SL2H-MAHQ Soloist Burnt Cherry Burst Maple Neck Guitar. Wow. Just get a good look at this guitar. It is a beauty. We took the Jackson SL2H-MAHQ and made a few modifications to it. We upgraded to Gold Hardware which looks amazing against the Burnt Cherry Burst Finish. In addition, basically kept the body of the SL2H-MAHQ and paired it with the neck of a standard SL2H Soloist which has a Neck-thru Quartersawn Maple Neck with a Black Painted Standard Headstock. The result is great. The Maple Neck adds a little more top end to the darker Mahogany body which evens out the tone. To mix things up even more we added a 5-way Blade Pickup Selector for some really different tonal options. With this configuration you can make this Jackson Soloist go from scorching metal rhythms and leads to pristine clean strat tones. See the specs below for the Blade Switch pickup configuration. This Jackson Soloist additional Features include an Mahogany body,Quilted Maple Top, Compound Radius Ebony Fingerboard, Floyd Rose Original Tremolo and Seymour Duncan Pickups. The compound radius that in fact comes standard on every Jackson Guitar. The fretboard is more concave closest to the nut and gradually flattens out as the fretboard nears the body of the guitar making playing on the higher frets a breeze. Every guitar player should have a Jackson SL2H Soloist in their arsenal or it is not complete. The Burnt Cherry Burst Quilted Maple Top on this Soloist is killer too.
