This is a Jackson USA Custom Shop SL2H Speed Neck Shannon Heel Soloist Snow White Guitar. We have had a lot of requests for this guitar. Jackson Soloists come with the Standard Jackson Neck Profile which is 790" at the 3rd Fret and .850" at the 12th. Warriors, King V's and Kelly's have the slimmer Speed Neck Profile which is .775" at the 3rd Fret and .835" at the 12th Fret. For the longest time the Speed Neck profile was only available on the Soloist as a Masterbuilt guitar. In addition, this Soloist has the MMFS Heel cut on it. MMFS = Mike Mother F*@king Shannon. Yes, MMFS Heel Cut is the official name of this feautre. This heel cut was developed by Mike Shannon which cuts deeper than the standard heel cut, giving better access to the higher frets. This is not an option available for order and is exclusively available at CMC Guitars. The Jackson SL2H Soloist is a classic shredder and this one is no different. It is built for speed and aggression but looks beautiful. In addition to the Speed Neck Profile we have an Alder Body a Quartersawn Maple Neck with a compound radius (12"-16") ebony fingerboard for fast and easy playability with Sharkfin Mother Of Pearl Inlays that look absolutely amazing. We also have 24 Jumbo Frets and a Standard 6-Point Jackson Headstock. The finish on this guitar is equally stunning. This soloist has a Snow White finish which so we went the extra mile on this guitar and put a Polyurethane finish on it instead of the standard Polyester finish. It costs a little more but this will keep the guitar from yellowing with age. Polyester turns yellow over time. It isn't noticeable on darker finishes but on lighter finishes like Snow White it turns them yellow over time. The pickups are a Direct Mount Seymour Duncan TB-4 Jeff Beck Pickup in the Bridge position and a Direct Mount Seymour Duncan '59 Neck Position. It is a classic and lethal combination. In addition it has a Floyd Rose® Original„ tremolo and black hardware. This guitar is perfect for Metal and with this killer finish and inlays it adds a touch of class. Grab this while you can.
