The Washburn Nuno Series guitars are incredible if you haven't played one.  Washburn in collaboration with Nuno Bettencourt have designed one of the best guitars on the market.  The Washburn N4 is the USA built model.  And this Washburn N4 is straight from the Washburn USA Custom Shop and is part of a limited run featuring the figured Solid Walnut body and the Birdseye Maple Neck. If you haven't played a Nuno Bettencourt Washburn Guitar the first thing you will notice is neck joint.  It is called the Stephen's Extended Cutaway.  It is a patented design that allows for easy access to the higher frets. 

The Washburn Nuno Bettencourt uses the Bill Lawrence L500 in the bridge position and a Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck position.  The Bill Lawrence L500 is an incredibly dynamic pickup that just smokes.  It is probably one of my favorite pickups on the market.  All in all this guitar is a workhorse and just plain sounds great.
